SMART
AND EFFECTIVE
WAY TO QUIT
SMOKING
A wearable device that will assist you to quit smoking. The eBand employs a two-factorial physiological analysis to determine the exact amount and timing for a personalized release of nicotine through cutting-edge carbon nano-tube technology. It allows tracking of nicotine intake to further support and encourage users.

WHY
eBand?
We created the first nicotine bracelet on the market that helps you quit smoking without causing harm to your body. By releasing nicotine INTELLIGENTLY and only when necessary, we make the process of quitting smoking easy and healthy! This is why it's important.

HOW IT WORKS
Our device measures blood pressure variability and changes in skin conductance to recognize withdrawal symptoms.

This quantitative stress measurement allows for the release of medication that is proportional to the withdrawal symptoms being experienced, allowing a regressive pattern of nicotine use.

The medication is delivered through nanochannels called densely packed multiwalled carbon nano-tubes.
You control the process from your mobile phone. Adjust the operation of the device to achieve optimal results and quit faster! Monitor your success as you take control of your addiction.
ADVANTAGES
Employs nicotine replacement therapy.
Nicotine or bupropion cartridges are available.
Release of medication is triggered by measurable physiological signs of withdrawal.
Automatically tracks progress and adjusts therapy.

SUCCESS RATE OF
35%
Expected success rate based on the combined use of several quitting methods.

NANO-TUBES
Medication is delivered via electrically driven flow through nanochannels called densely packed multiwalled carbon nano-tubes (MWCT). For this, a Pt wire is inserted into the droplet of liquid medication to establish electrical contact, making the tube membrane the anode (positive potential) and the Pt wire the cathode (negative potential). When a voltage threshold of 1.7V is reached, the droplet rapidly transitions from a superhydrophobic state to a hydrophilic state, releasing the droplet through the MWCT and onto the skin where it is gradually absorbed.

ADDICTION FREE LIFE
The reason that it is so hard to quit smoking is that nicotine is addictive, which means that when the body stops receiving it after having gotten used to it, withdrawal symptoms will ensue.

-
Most smokers want to quit but are unsure where to start.
-
Many smokers have tried quitting but were unable to maintain it.
-
According to research, it takes anywhere from 6 to 142 attempts to finally quit for good.
